All our furniture finishes will be discussed with you at the time of sign-off. I like working with natural oils and waxes that enhance the wood's beauty, soak in deeply to provide durability, and allow the wood to breathe and move with the seasons. Since my furniture is made from solid wood's, any significant surface damage can be sanded and refinished.

If your piece sustains more serious damage while in your care, we are happy to provide advice on the best treatment or repair methods. We also offer a refinishing service to maintain the piece's beauty over the years.

As wood is a living material, it can be affected by different climates from where it was made. We advise keeping the pieces out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, as these can alter the surface and dimensions. Changes in temperature and humidity can sometimes cause warping and shrinkage. Addressing issues of moisture or humidity in the room will usually resolve these problems.
